Monarto Safari Park Vehicles Coating

Seven custom-built LandCruisers were delivered by CMI Toyota to Monarto Safari Park, each designed to offer guests a rugged and immersive safari experience. The steel frames and bodies were expertly engineered by Aldom Motor Body Builders, who then turned to Arkote for a coating solution that could withstand the demanding conditions of safari terrain.

Aldom needed a finish that provided both exceptional durability and a high-end appearance to match the quality of their builds. That’s where Arkote’s Shingleback Gold Powder Coating System came in.

Arkote's Approach

Our team assessed the project requirements and recommended this advanced coating system for its superior corrosion resistance, UV stability, and long-lasting performance—ensuring the fleet not only performs in the harsh outback but also maintains its professional finish over time.

At Arkote, we take pride in delivering coating solutions tailored to every challenge—and this project is a standout example of that commitment.

Benefits of Shingleback Gold Coating

Our in-house coating process includes surface preparation, priming, and the application of a durable polyester topcoat. This ensures strong adhesion, even colour distribution, and long-term resistance to UV radiation, corrosion, and physical wear.

The green elements of the vehicles, finished using a wet spray method by an external provider, complemented Arkote’s tough frame coating and completed the vehicles’ rugged design.

The coated vehicles now boast a durable, high-quality finish capable of enduring Monarto Safari Park’s extreme conditions. This project underscores Arkote’s ability to deliver top-tier, customisable coating solutions for heavy-duty vehicles in demanding outdoor environments.
