Maintenance Fitter/General Handyman

If you love to fit, repair, improve and build new equipment that is leading the industry in innovation then we are looking for you!

We are looking for someone to both attend to keeping the place in good working order and fixing breakdowns whilst implementing a renovation of our production facility, moving equipment and machines, modifying existing, designing, and making new equipment.

Must be a creative, innovative skilled and capable person with a focus on improving equipment & processes.

MAIN DUTIES:

Attend to breakdowns with highest priority so production continues.
Maintain and service equipment to ensure good working order.
Create and maintain a clean, orderly, and highly organised work area.
General Handyman. Activities around the plant.
Modify and improve existing plant to increase safety and productivity.
Build new plant and equipment.

SKIILS NEEDED:

Welding, and basic fabrication skills.
Basic knowledge and skills in plumbing and pipework.
Hand tools and workshop equipment experience.
Some level of presswork & fitting work required.

Punctual, reliable, and responsible work ethic.
Innovative approach to problem solving and improvement ideas.
Clean, neat, organised person.

HOURS - Monday to Thursday 6 am - 3 pm, Friday 6 am - 12 pm (half day).

HOURLY RATE - $30 - $45 per hour depending on skills & abilities.

LOCATION - St Marys.
